All relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend a GRAVESIDE Funeral Service for Norm on FRIDAY the 8th of September 2023 at the Lynd Highway Cemetery, Charters Towers. Which commenced at 10am.

Rest in Peace Norm
Norm was a member of the Lions Club of Charters Towers (Host)since 1963 and was still a Lion till the end. He is the last of the old generation of our club.

On behalf of Friends of the Theatre, I wish to offer condolences to the Wallace Family after the death of Norm at age 97. Norm was a member of Friends from the early days of The World Theatre. He was one of the members who regularly volunteered at Dungavel’s Bar to ensure that patrons enjoyed a full theatre experience. Norm continued volunteering at the bar until, deteriorating eyesight meant that he couldn’t ride is motorbike after dark. Thank you Norm; may you rest in peace. Friends will be thinking of the Wallace Family at Norm’s funeral service today. Bob Shepherd President & Bar Manager Friends of the Theatre.
