Our Community Campaigns

SAY G’DAY ONCE A DAY

Encouraging community awareness of the elderly and vulnerable, by simply saying G’Day to our Neighbours and caring for each other we bring about a positive change for a healthier community. This community awareness campaign was developed in 2014 and continues today.

DRIVE N TEXT U BE NEXT

Working with the Dalrymple Regional Lions Club, and local Police we developeda relevant Driver’s Education message that has since caught on throughout North Queensland.

NO OPPOSITION NO GAME

Is our new Campaign to encourage all sports to recognise that every team is a valued part of their sporting competition. Without other teams to play against there is no game. We encourage good sportsmanship within every league, team and their supporters. Recognise every individual within a team and the value of their contribution to your chosen sport.

DRIVER’S EDUCATION DOCUDRAMA PROGRAM

The Docudrama program is aimed at educating senior secondary students about the potential risks of travelling in a vehicle as both drivers and passengers to reduce the number of road accidents, fatalities and injuries involving Queensland learner and provisional drivers and adolescent passengers. We have been honoured to work alongside Police, Ambulance are the RACQ to present the Docudrama program toschools in Charters Towers.

DEAD BULL RACING

Born of an idea in late January 2018, Dead Bull Racing commenced in February with entry into the 2018 Queensland Variety Bash. Sponsors were in place before it arrived in Charters Towers and our target of $8,500 was reached within one month of entering the bash. A total I excess of $20,000 was donated by our Dead Bull Racing entry to Variety Queensland. Our 2019 fundraising is now underway.
